Title translation: "Even monkeys fall from trees!"
It's an excuse when someone messes up something or doesn't do as well as expected.

My uncle taught me that one at the Pilling family reunion last weekend. He's the only one even closely related to me  that knows Japanese.

Well, Jen lived through it. For a bit, I wasn't sure if she was going to make but thankfully she did. I think the biggest thing was that she was coughing through most of the nights because of her tonsillitis. She thought that she wasn't going to be able to have a shower all weekend and have to go to church without a shower and no matter how much I tried to reassure her that there were relatives in a house not far from there where she could take a shower, she still wouldn't believe me. But take a shower on Sunday morning she did.

Aside from being sore from rafting and chasing cows on a horse and getting over what Jen thinks is food poisoning it was a pretty fun weekend for me!

Someone was interested in the URL for a site/blog that I'm currently developing. It was spawned by several issues that I've heard/dealt with about BYU that tend to make it frustrating to be associated with BYU in any way. The URL is:

I put milk in my eyes ... with a spoon!

Jen's been wanting me to exercise for the past long while (about a year now). With good reason. About 264 lbs of reason. Well, back to the point... I think I'm allergic to chlorine in the pools. I think I was blind for a good while (not good for driving home like I did). It hurt ... bad ... bad enough that after praying I had the idea to put milk in my eyes... weird huh! But the weirder part is that it worked rather instantly!

Do I sound like a milk commercial? I hope not. Jen says I don't, she says I'm crazy!
